Two new semi-detached timber framed houses become a landmark in the history of commoning. They are the first houses to be built on the Crown lands for more than 50 years. The timber framed dwellings were built using wood grown within view of the construction site. The houses each contain high levels of insulation coupled with geo-thermal heating, solar panels and 'grey-water' harvesting.
